NHL: Phoenix 6, Detroit 3

GLENDALE, Ariz., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Ed Jovanovski scored the game-winner and Enver Lisin also tallied twice in the third period Tuesday, allowing the Phoenix Coyotes to stun Detroit 6-3.

Derek Morris, Keith Yandle and Olli Jokinen also scored for the Coyotes. Phoenix goalie Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 34 shots.

Nicklas Lidstrom scored twice for the Red Wings. Mikael Samuelsson also tallied and Pavel Datsyuk had a pair of assists.

Ty Conklin gave up five goals on 26 shots.

Phoenix has won three of four overall and snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Red Wings, who lost for the second straight game.
