NHL: Edmonton 4, Columbus 3

EDMONTON, Alberta, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Ales Hemsky scored with 35 seconds left in regulation Tuesday, lifting the Edmonton Oilers to a 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Hemsky finished with two goals and two assists for Edmonton, which has won three straight and five of its last six games overall. Lubomir Visnovsky and Denis Grebeshkov also scored for the Oilers and Edmonton goaltender Dwayne Roloson had 20 saves.

Jason Williams, Jared Boll and Marc Methot scored for the Blue Jackets. Steve Mason allowed four goals on 22 shots in the loss.

The Blue Jackets announced that goaltender Pascal Leclaire will have ankle surgery Friday and could possibly miss the rest of the regular season.
