COL BKB: Illinois 67, Ohio State 49

CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Mike Tisdale scored 15 points Tuesday to lead the 24th-ranked Illinois Illini to a 67-49 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Demetri McCamey added 13 points and seven assists for the Illini (16-3, 4-2 Big Ten), who have won 10 of their 11 home games this season. Dominique Keller scored 12 points and Chester Frazier had 10.

Ohio State (13-4, 3-3) was led by B.J. Mullens, who had 14 points and seven rebounds. William Buford added 13 points for the Buckeyes. Evan Turner had 10 rebounds.

The Buckeyes lost control of the game early when Illinois went on a 14-3 run and held a 38-26 halftime lead.
