NBA: New York 102, Chicago 98

NEW YORK, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Quentin Richardson nailed five three-pointers Monday en route to a 24-point performance that helped the New York Knicks fend off Chicago 102-98.

Richardson also had six rebounds in helping New York end a two-game skid.

Chris Duhon added 19 points for the winners and David Lee notched his 29th double-double of the year with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bulls got 19 points and 10 rebounds from Tyrus Thomas, and 13 points and seven assists from Kirk Hinrich.

The Bulls have lost four of their last six games.

Chicago led by three points when Richardson hit one of his three-pointers to make it 97-97 with 2:15 left.

Knicks free throws down the stretch and a Duhon roll-in with 31.2 seconds remaining cinched the win for New York as Chicago's shooters went cold.
