NBA: Minnesota 94, LA Clippers 86

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Al Jefferson had 20 points and 17 rebounds Monday to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 94-86 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Craig Smith also scored 20 points and had eight rebounds and Randy Foye scored 17 points for Minnesota, which has won seven of its last eight games.

Eric Gordon scored 25 points and Steve Novak 18 for the Clippers, who have lost 13 of their last 14 games. Al Thornton had 12 points and nine rebounds and DeAndre Jordan had eight points and 10 rebounds for Los Angeles.
