NHL: Pittsburgh 3, New York Rangers 0

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury made 33 saves Sunday, backstopping a 3-0 Penguins' win over the New York Rangers.

Fleury's shutout was his second this season.

Petr Sykora scored a power-play goal and added an assist, and Chris Minard and Tyler Kennedy each had a goal for Pittsburgh.

New York goalie Henrik Lundqvist allowed the three Penguins goals and ended up with 23 saves.

Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby was back on the ice after sitting out a game with an injury. Crosby was unsuccessful on a penalty shot in the second period.
