
CALGARY, Alberta, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Peter Mueller and Mikkel Boedker had a goal and an assist apiece Saturday night and the Phoenix Coyotes beat Calgary 4-3.
David Hale and Olli Jokinen had goals for Phoenix, which has won four of its last five games. Martin Hanzal had two assists and Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 29 shots for the Coyotes.
Mike Cammalleri scored twice, Matthew Lombardi had a goal and Jarome Iginla had two assists for the Flames, who lost on home ice for just the first time in eight games. Miikka Kiprusoff went 22-of-26 in goal for Calgary.
The Coyotes were up 3-1 heading into the third period. Lombardi cut the lead to 3-2 with a slapshot at 3:17 of the third.
Boedker beat Kiprusoff at 6:48 to make it 4-2. The Flames cut the lead to one again when Cammalleri scored with 12 minutes left in the game -- but Phoenix held on for the win.
