GLENDALE, Ariz., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Arizona's Kurt Warner threw four touchdown passes Sunday and the Cardinals shocked the Philadelphia Eagles 32-25 for the NFC title and a trip to the Super Bowl.
The 37-year-old Warner hit Larry Fitzgerald on TDs of 9, 62 and 1 yards and connected with Tim Hightower on an 8-yarder with 2:53 left that turned out to be the game-winner. Hightower battled his way into the end zone after catching the pass.
The Super Bowl, where Arizona will meet the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be the first for the Cardinals franchise. Pittsburgh downed Baltimore 23-14 Sunday for the AFC title.
Arizona (12-7) led 24-6, gave up 19 straight points to lose the lead and then pulled out the win on a 72-yard drive capped by Warner's toss to Hightower and a 2-point conversion.
Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb tossed touchdown passes of 6 and 31 yards to Brent Celek, and connected with DeSean Jackson on a 62-yarder.
The McNabb-to-Jackson score came with 10:45 remaining and put the Eagles (11-7-1) ahead 25-24 until the Cards' winning drive, which used up nearly 8 minutes.
Neil Rackers booted a 49-yard field goal for the Cardinals and Philadelphia's David Akers kicked field goals of 45 and 33 yards but also missed one, as well as an extra-point try.
