Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
EVANSTON, Ill., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Northwestern's Craig Moore and Kevin Coble combined for 42 points Sunday, leading the Wildcats past No. 17 Minnesota 74-65.
Moore hit six three-point shots and finished with 22 points. Coble totaled 20 points and four assists.
The Wildcats (9-6, 1-4 Big Ten) came from behind and took the lead for good with a 16-point run in the early part of the second half.
Lawrence Westbrook led the Gophers (16-2, 4-2) with 18 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
