COL BKB: Connecticut 76, Seton Hall 61

HARTFORD, Conn., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- A.J. Price scored 23 points Sunday for No. 4 Connecticut, which pulled away in the first half and cruised to a 76-61 victory over Seton Hall.

UConn was up 42-26 at halftime and maintained double-digit leads the rest of the way.

Hasheem Thabeet posted 15 points and 17 rebounds, and Jeff Adrien had 13 points and 12 rebounds in the fifth straight win for the Huskies (16-1, 5-1 Big East).

Jeremy Hazell scored 20 points and Robert Mitchell 19 for the Pirates (9-8, 0-5), who have lost five consecutive games.
