DALLAS, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Dallas's Mike Ribeiro scored two goals Saturday, the second on a shootout wrist-shot that gave the Stars a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

All the scoring in regulation came in the third period, which had a hectic finish.
Ribeiro scored with 1:12 remaining, breaking a 1-1 tie. Less than a minute later, the Kings' Alexander Frolov fired in a goal, setting up overtime.
Jere Lehtinen scored the other Dallas goal and Dustin Brown tallied for the Kings.
