Tommie Harris' wife dies

NASHVILLE, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Ilya Kovalchuk had a goal and an assist Saturday night when the Atlanta Thrashers pounded the Nashville Predators 7-2.
Zach Bogosian picked up his first career goal for the Thrashers. Bryan Little, Eric Perrin, Mathieu Schneider, Colby Armstrong and Jim Slater also scored, and Kari Lehtonen stopped 31 shots for Atlanta.
Jordin Tootoo and Shea Weber scored for the Predators, who have lost three of four and suffered their worst home defeat of the season.
Starter Dan Ellis took the loss after giving up three goals on four shots through almost 11 minutes. Pekka Rinne finished the game, allowing four goals on 28 shots.
