ZAUCHENSEE, Austria, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- American skier Lindsey Vonn raced to a super-combined win in Zauchensee, Austria, Saturday, her third win this season on the world cup circuit.

The competition included downhill and slalom runs.

Vonn, the reigning overall cup champion, placed fourth in the downhill and third in the slalom, a combination that earned her a 16th victory on the tour.

"Today was a great way to get back in the speed events," the Vail, Colo., racer said.

Vonn is now second in the overall cup standings, 13 points behind Maria Riesch of Germany.
