Johnson leads Sony Open after three rounds

HONOLULU, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Former Masters champion Zach Johnson posted a 4-under 66 Saturday to take the third-round lead at the PGA Sony Open in Honolulu.

Earlier in the round, 18-year-old Tadd Fujikawa of Hawaii turned in an 8-under 62 to hold the clubhouse lead for several hours. The high school senior had nine birdies with just one bogey.

Johnson, the 2007 Masters champ, finished at 10-under 200 for a one-stroke edge over David Toms (65), Shigeki Maruyama (68), Brian Gay (68) and Nathan Green (69).

Fujikawa wound up another shot back at 202 to share sixth place with George McNeill (65), Boo Weekley (67) and Charles Howell III (67).

Adam Scott (66) and Mercedes-Benz winner Geoff Ogilvy (68) were tied with Kevin Na (66) at 7-under 203.
