COL BKB: Wake Forest 78, Clemson 68

CLEMSON, S.C., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Jeff Teague and James Johnson combined for 43 points for No. 3 Wake Forest, which kept its record perfect Saturday with a 78-68 win over No. 9 Clemson.

The Demon Deacons (16-0, 3-0 ACC) used a 10-1 run in the closing minutes to hold off the Tigers, who lost for the first time in 17 games this season.

Teague scored 24 points and Johnson had 19, with Al-Farouq Aminu adding 12 points and 10 rebounds.

K.C. Rivers and Terrence Oglesby scored 15 points apiece for Clemson (16-1, 2-1).
