MEMPHIS, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Deron Williams scored 27 points and hit a key three-pointer late in the game Friday to bring the Utah Jazz a 101-91 win over Memphis.
Utah won for the fifth time in six games, its only loss in that stretch coming against Oklahoma City.

Williams added 12 assists for his 13th double-double of the season. Ronnie Brewer scored 21 for Utah and both Mehmet Okur and Andrei Kirilenko had 13.
Memphis, losers of five straight, got 23 points from O.J. Mayo.
With the Grizzlies trying to stage a late comeback, Williams hit a three-point shot with 90 seconds remaining that gave the Jazz a 99-91 lead.
