James made 12-of-24 attempts from the field and scored 14 points in the fourth period. He was coming off an 8-for-28 performance in Thursday's loss to Chicago.

Sasha Pavlovic added 19 points while making all four of his tries from three-point range. Mo Williams contributed 17 points in Cleveland's fourth win in five games.

Chris Paul led New Orleans with 18 points. He also had six assists, running his career total to 2,503 in 258 games. Only Hall-of-Famer Oscar Robertson got to that figure quicker, doing so in 247 games.

Paul, however, was kicked out of the game with 1:10 remaining in the fourth quarter after his complaints to the officials earned him two technical fouls.

Cleveland had a 51-36 halftime lead and the Hornets came no closer than eight during the final two quarters.
