COL BKB: Connecticut 67, St. John's 55

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Freshman Kemba Walker led No. 4 Connecticut to its fourth straight win Thursday night, scoring 21 points in a 67-55 decision over the St. John's Red Storm.

UConn led by just a point at halftime but began to pull away in the second half. A 3-pointer by A.J. Price and a 3-point play by Walker in the closing minutes clinched the victory.

Jeff Adrien added 17 points and 11 rebounds and Hasheem Thabeet had 10 points, eight rebounds and five blocks for the Huskies (15-1, 4-1 Big East).

Paris Horne was the leading scorer for the Red Storm (10-6, 1-3) with 24 points. D.J. Kennedy contributed 12 points.
