LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Darren Collison had 18 points and six assists Sunday night to lead No. 7 UCLA to a 64-60 win over USC.
Nikola Dragovic scored 14 points and Jrue Holiday had 13 for the Bruins (13-2, 3-0 Pac-10), who have won nine straight.
DeMar DeRozan led the Trojans with 15 points. Taj Gibson and Daniel Hackett had 13 points apiece for USC (10-5, 1-2), who lost their second straight game.
The game was close all night and USC had the lead for large stretches of the second half. But UCLA went up by five with five minutes left to play following a layup by Holiday and a three-pointer by Dragovic. Hackett answered with a three, but Dragovic then connected on three of four free throws to put the Bruins ahead 61-56 with just over two minutes to play and the Bruins held on for the win.
