Schwartzel, McLardy, Drysdale share lead

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- South Africans Charl Schwartzel and Andrew McLardy and Scot David Drysdale shared the third-round lead at 11-under-par 202 Saturday in the Joburg Open.

Schwartzel fired a round of 8-under 63 that included a hole-in-one on the 12th hole in a round that had two stoppages because of thunderstorms.

McLardy carded a 69 and Drysdale had a 71 at the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington layout in Johannesburg.

Anders Hansen (64), two-time U.S. Open winner Retief Goosen (65) and Joakim Haeggman (66) shared fourth place a stroke back at 203.

Twenty-five players were separated by four shots at the top of the leader board.

The tournament is sanctioned by the European and South African tours.
