KAPALUA, Hawaii, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Geoff Ogilvy shot an 8-under 65 Saturday to lead by six after the third round of the Mercedes Benz Championship in Hawaii, which opens the 2009 PGA Tour.

Ogilvy, the 2006 U.S. Open champion, finished 54 holes at 19-under 200 and Justin Leonard (65) and D.J. Trahan (70) share second place at 206.

Ogilvy was just one stroke ahead of Trahan beginning Saturday's action.

"It's never over until the last hole," said Ogilvy, who has led after each round this week. "I've never had a lead like this going into Sunday, so it'll be a new experience for me. I'll keep trying to hit good shots and if I keep doing that, good things will happen."

Camilo Villegas (66), Davis Love III (68), Kenny Perry (68) and Anthony Kim (68) are tied for fourth place at 12-under 207.

Conditions were good Saturday and among the 33-player field of winners from last year's PGA Tour only Ryuji Imada posted an over-par third-round score.
