Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
CINCINNATI, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- A.J. Price scored 22 points Saturday for No. 5 Connecticut, which used a late 15-6 run to turn back the Cincinnati Bearcats 81-72.
Jeff Adrien scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Huskies (14-1, 3-1 Big East), winners of three straight games.
Deonta Vaughn posted 19 points and six assists, and Mike Williams had 14 points in the fourth straight defeat for Cincinnati (10-6, 0-3),
UConn's late run ended with a dunk by Adrien with 4:57 to play. Cincinnati could not get closer than nine points the rest of the way.
