LUBBOCK, Texas, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree, winner of this year's Biletnikoff Award as the top collegiate receiver, reportedly will enter the 2009 NFL draft.

The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal quoted Crabtree's father as saying his son would leave the Red Raiders. Crabtree's father said his son had been told by NFL scouts that he would be among the first 10 players chosen this year.

An official announcement is expected next week.

Crabtree highlighted a big season with a touchdown catch with one second to go that gave Texas Tech a 39-33 win over then No. 1 Texas. It was the Longhorns' only loss of the season.

During his two years with Texas Tech, Crabtree piled up 3,127 receiving yards and 41 touchdowns.
