MILWAUKEE, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Luke Ridnour made a floating jump shot in the lane with 3 seconds to play Friday, giving the Milwaukee Bucks a 104-102 win over New Jersey.

Ridnour also made a key steal with 44 seconds left and the Bucks owning a three-point lead, but Milwaukee could not put the game away.

Charlie Bell missed what would have been a clinching shot for the Bucks with 20 seconds remaining and Bobby Simmons then hit a three-pointer to tie it with 11 seconds left.

Following a time out, Ridnour was able to work his way free in the lane for the game-winning shot.

The Bucks have alternated wins and losses for nine straight games. New Jersey failed in its bid for a three-game winning streak.

Michael Redd led Milwaukee with 24 points and Charlie Villanueva had 23. The Bucks let an 11-point, fourth-quarter lead get away before finally pulling out the victory.

Vince Carter scored 23 for New Jersey.
