IOWA CITY, Iowa, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- A basket by Travis Busch and four free throws by Lawrence Westbrook in the final minute Thursday enabled No. 19 Minnesota to escape with a 52-49 win over Iowa.
The Gophers (13-1, 2-1 Big Ten) shot just 33.9 percent from the field and missed 17-of-22 3-point attempts, but Iowa was cold, too, hitting 38.1 percent of its shots.
