CHALEP HILL, N.C., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Tyler Hansbrough delivered 24 points Wednesday and North Carolina rebounded from its first loss of the season by downing the College of Charleston 108-70.

The third-ranked Tar Heels were shocked last Sunday by Boston College, which in turn fell Wednesday to underdog Harvard.

Hansbrough chipped in seven rebounds, while Deon Thompson had 15 points and Danny Green 14. North Carolina (14-1) returns to ACC action Sunday at Wake Forest.

College of Charleston (10-3) has lost two in a row after a 10-game winning streak. The Cougars were led by Tony White with 16 points.
