CLEMSON, S.C., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Trevor Booker scored 19 points for the unbeaten and 11th-ranked Clemson Tigers in a 66-59 victory over Alabama Tuesday.

K.C. Rivers and Terrence Oglesby added 12 points each for the Tigers, who improved to 15-0.

Alonzo Gee and Senario Hillman scored 12 points apiece for the Crimson Tide (10-4), who had a five-game win streak snapped. Ronald Steele chipped in 10 points and JaMychal Green had seven points and 11 rebounds.

The Tigers overcame a cold-shooting first half when they hit only 34.5 percent from the floor. They warmed up to 44.8 percent in the second half while holding Alabama to 29.4 percent shooting.

The Tide stayed close in this one until Clemson erupted for a 17-1 surge that gave it a 58-43 lead with under 6 minutes left.
