NBA: Philadelphia 104, Houston 96

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Andre Iguodala hit 12-of-19 from the floor Tuesday and totaled 28 points to pace the Philadelphia 76ers to a 104-96 victory over the Houston Rockets.

Lou Williams and Andre Miller each had eight assists to go with 15 and nine points, respectively, for Philadelphia. Rookie Marreese Speights also had 15 points and had eight rebounds.

Houston's Tracy McGrady returned after a one-game absence due to a knee injury, but forwards Ron Artest (ankle) and Shane Battier (foot) were out with injuries.

Luis Scola led six Rockets in double figures with 18 points and had 17 rebounds. McGrady, Yao Ming, Von Wafer and Carl Landry each had 14 points for Houston, which has lost six of its last eight games.
