COL BKB: Michigan State 67, Ohio State 58

EAST LANSING, Mich., Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Kalin Lucas scored 20 points Tuesday, fueling 12th-ranked Michigan State's 67-58 victory over Ohio State.

Raymar Morgan had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Goran Suton added nine points and nine rebounds for the Spartans (12-2, 3-0 Big Ten), who won their eighth straight game.

William Buford led Ohio State (10-3, 1-2) with 17 points, B.J. Mullens added 16 points, and Evan Turner 14 points and 10 rebounds. Ohio State has lost three of four after starting the season with 9-0.

The Spartans went over four more than 4 minutes without a field goal in the first half before unloading a barrage of three-pointers.
