MILWAUKEE, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Led by Jerel McNeal's 26 points, five rebounds and six assists Sunday, No. 25 Marquette rolled to an 84-50 Big East Conference win over unranked Cincinnati.

The senior guard sank all seven of his three-point attempts, and his trey with 6:54 left in the first half gave Marquette a 20-17 lead, one it never relinquished.

Wesley Matthews scored 17 points with six rebounds, while Lazar Hayward added 16 points for the Eagles (13-2, 2-0 Big East), who have won five in a row since an 80-68 loss to 18th-ranked Tennessee Dec. 16 at the SEC/Big East Invitational.

Larry Davis and Rashad Bishop led Cincinnati with 11 points apiece.

Yancy Gates scored 10 with three rebounds, but leading scorer Deonta Vaughn was scoreless with 10 assists for the Bearcats (10-4, 0-1), who have split their last four outings.

Marquette shot 54 percent from the floor to only 32.7 percent for the Bearcats.
