NASHVILLE, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Todd Bertuzzi scored the game-winner Saturday with 23.4 seconds left to boost the Calgary Flames to a 3-2 victory against Nashville.

Bertuzzi's 10th goal this season came about seven minutes after he set up Daymond Langkow's 11th, which created a 2-2 tie. Craig Conroy picked up an assist on Bertuzzi's game-winner for his 500th NHL point.

Curtis Glencross also scored, while Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 24-of-26 shots for the red-hot -- and first-place -- Flames, who won for the fifth consecutive time and moved four points ahead of Vancouver in the Northwest Division standings.

Calgary has won seven of its last eight games overall, and earned at least a point in 10 straight (7

3).

The Flames are 3-0 against Nashville this season.

Nashville's Jerred Smithson and Jason Arnott scored once each.

Dan Ellis was beaten three times on 26 shots in the Predators' fourth loss in a row.
