
NORMAN, Okla., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Tony Crocker's career-high 20 points Saturday keyed fourth-ranked Oklahoma's 93-62 rout of outmanned Coppin State.
He scored six of Oklahoma's first nine points after his three-pointer opened the scoring.
OU bolted out to a 45-23 halftime lead and maintained a double-digit lead throughout.
Blake Griffin added 14 points with 12 rebounds. Willie Warren scored 14 with seven assists, whileOmar Leary had 11 points, Ray Willis had 10 with six rebounds for the Sooners (13-1), who recovered from a 96-88 loss to Arkansas Tuesday, their lone loss to date.
They held a 48-25 rebounding advantage and overcame 12 turnovers.
Tywain McKee led Coppin State with 20 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Brian Chestnut had 16 points and six rebounds, but no other player scored in double figures for the Eagles (2-11), who upset George Washington 59-53 at the Rainbow Classic in their previous contest.
