COL BKB: Kansas 92, Tennessee 85

LAWRENCE, Kan., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Sherron Collins had 26 points and nine assists Saturday to lead the Kansas Jayhawks to a 92-85 victory over 18th-ranked Tennessee.

It was the Jayhawks (10-3) third win in their last four games. Cole Aldrich added 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Tyler Smith had 21 points and nine rebounds for Tennessee (9-3), which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Wayne Chism -- who appeared to suffer a serious back injury this week against Louisiana-Lafayette -- had 17 points, eight rebounds and six blocks in the loss.
