COL BKB: Clemson 79, East Carolina 66

CLEMSON, S.C., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- K.C. Rivers had 18 points and six rebounds Saturday to lead the 16th-ranked Clemson Tigers to a 79-66 win over the East Carolina Pirates.

Trevor Booker added 13 points and nine rebounds as Clemson improved to 14-0 for the second time in three years.

East Carolina (8-5) was led James Legan, who had 21 points, and Brock Young, who had 11 points and 10 assists.
