NBA: Philadelphia 100, LA Clippers 92

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Andre Iguodala scored 12 of his 28 points in the fourth period Wednesday, helping Philadelphia hold off the Los Angeles Clippers 100-92.

The 76ers halted a four-game losing streak, which had come after they had won their first three under Coach Tony DiLeo. Philadelphia has played four games of a six-game holiday road trip.

Iguodala went to the free throw line 17 times and made 14. Thaddeus Young added 20 points and Andre Miller had 15 for the 76ers.

Los Angeles, which lost its fifth straight, was led by Al Thornton with 24 points. The Clippers shot only 40 percent from the floor and made just four three-pointers in 18 attempts.
