
DETROIT, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Allen Iverson's 19 points, four rebounds and four assists Wednesday led Detroit to an 83-75 win over the New Jersey Nets.
It gave Detroit a five-game winning streak.
Iverson scored back-to-back baskets when New Jersey closed to 75-72 with 3:04 left in the fourth period after his bucket had given Detroit a 64-52 advantage when it started.
Tayshaun Prince scored 16 with seven rebounds and five assists.
Rodney Stuckey ended with 11 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Arron Afflalo had 10 points, three rebounds and two assists for the Pistons, who again played without Richard Hamilton.
He missed his third straight game with a groin injury.
Brook Lopez' 23 points and 12 rebounds led New Jersey.
Devin Harris scored 19 with nine assists.
Yi Jianlian had 12 points and four rebounds, and Jarvis Hayes added 10 points with six rebounds in the Nets' third loss in their last four outings and second in a row.
