COL BKB: Notre Dame 92, DePaul 82

ROSEMONT, Ill., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Luke Harangody recorded 26 points and 16 rebounds Wednesday, helping No. 10 Notre Dame open its Big East campaign with a 92-82 win over DePaul.

Zach Hillesland added 17 points in the fourth straight win for Notre Dame (10-2). Troy Jackson had 12 points and seven assists.

DePaul (8-6) was led by 26 points from Mac Koshwal and 24 from Dar Tucker.

Notre Dame went on a 14-5 run in the first half for an 11-point lead and took a 47-34 advantage into the break. The Blue Demons came no closer than nine points down the stretch.
