NHL: Calgary 2, Minnesota 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Eric Nystrom's third-period goal -- his first goal in 25 games -- gave the Calgary Flames a 2-1 victory over Minnesota Monday night.

Daymond Langkow scored the other goal for the Flames, who have won three in a row and five of six. Miikka Kiprusoff made 23 stops.

Stephane Veilleux scored the lone goal for the Wild, who suffered their fourth defeat in six games. Josh Harding was the losing goalie despite stopping 27-of-29 shots.
