VILLANOVA, Pa., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Corey Fisher scored 19 of his 23 points in the second half Monday to lead the 13th-ranked Villanova Wildcats to a 62-45 win over Temple.

Fisher was 7-of-8 from the field and 4-for-4 on three-point shots to help Villanova remain perfect at home this season (8-0). Dante Cunningham had 10 of his 12 points in the first half to help the Wildcats (12-1) overcome a poor first-half shooting performance.

Villanova shot only 32.1 percent over the first 20 minutes and made just two of 10 three-point attempts.

Dionte Christmas led Temple (5-6) with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists while both Michael Eric and Erin Brooks finished with nine points each.
