NHL: Anaheim 4, St. Louis 3

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Anaheim's Bobby Ryan scored with 7:11 to play and the Ducks held on Sunday to edge the St. Louis Blues 4-3.

Ducks' goalie Jonas Hiller saved the win by blocking a point-blank shot by David Backes with 3 seconds remaining.

Hiller finished with 27 saves.

Scott Niedermayer, Rob Niedermayer and Steve Montador scored the other Anaheim goals.

Keith Tkachuk and David Perron each had a goal and assist for the Blues and Brad Boyes added a goal.

Chris Mason recorded 25 saves for St. Louis.
