COL BKB: Minnesota 82, High Point 56

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Ralph Sampson III scored 17 points Sunday for the unbeaten No. 23 Minnesota Gophers, who rolled over High Point 82-56.

Lawrence Westbrook added 13 points and Devoe Joseph and Devron Bostick had 11 each for the Gophers.

Minnesota (12-0) raced to an early lead and had a 49-23 advantage at halftime.

Eugene Harris tallied 18 points for the Panthers (4-8).
