NHL: Dallas 4, Anaheim 3 (OT)

DALLAS, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Mike Modano beat Jean-Sebastien Giguere to score with 1:26 remaining in overtime Saturday night and the Dallas Stars topped Anaheim 4-3.

Mike Ribeiro had a goal and two assists for Dallas, which also got a goal and an assist each from James Neal and Brad Richards to win for the fourth time in five games. Marty Turco finished with 19 saves for the Stars.

Brendan Morrison had two goals and Chris Kunitz scored one for the Ducks, who have lost three straight. Giguere finished with 34 saves.

The Ducks went up 3-2 with 3:21 left in regulation, when Morrison scored off a pass from Bobby Ryan. The Stars pulled Turco with 1:20 remaining and made the man advantage pay off with Ribeiro's game-tying goal at 18:56.

With Ryan Getzlaf in the penalty box for slashing in the extra period, Richards hit Modano with a pass over the left circle that Modano banged home for the game winner.
