COL BKB: Louisville 82, Alabama-Birm 62

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Terrence Williams had 21 points and 10 rebounds Saturday to lift 19th-ranked Louisville to an 82-62 win over Alabama-Birmingham.

Samardo Samuels added 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Andre McGee 13 points for the Cardinals (8-2).

Robert Vaden scored 22 points for the Blazers (8-4), who had a three-game win streak end. Lawrence Kinnard added 19 points and eight rebounds, and Paul Delaney III 16 points, five rebounds and four assists.

UAB trailed by only a point, 27-26, with about 5 minutes left in the first half, but Louisville then had a 10-0 streak and was ahead 37-28 at halftime.
