CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Brett Sutter, son of Calgary General Manager Darryl Sutter, scored in his NHL debut Tuesday, helping the Flames fend off the Anaheim Ducks 4-3.

But it took third-period goals by Mark Giordano and Mike Cammalleri to secure the victory. They also had assists for the Flames, who have won three of four.

David Moss got the other Calgary goal.

Flames netminder Miikka Kiprusoff recorded 30 saves.

Brendan Morrison scored twice and Ryan Getzlaf once for Anaheim, losers of a row. Jean-Sebastien Giguere turned aside 28-of-32 shots for the Ducks.
