
CHICAGO, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Robbie Gould kicked a 38-yard field goal with 11:28 left in overtime Monday night to give the Chicago Bears a 20-17 win over Green Bay.
The Bears' (9-6) third straight win put them in a tie with the Minnesota Vikings atop the NFC North.
Matt Forte carried the ball 23 times for 73 yards and a touchdown and Kyle Orton was 14-of-27 passing for 142 yards and a TD with one interception for the Bears. Greg Olsen caught five passes for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Aaron Rodgers went 24-of-39 passing for 260 yards and two touchdowns with one interception for the Packers (5-10).
Green Bay had a chance to win it in regulation but the Bears blocked a 38-yard field goal attempt with 18 seconds left.
Chicago had the first possession in overtime. Orton hit Olsen for a 17-yard gain to midfield and a penalty on the pay advanced the ball to the Packers' 35.
Five plays later, Gould kicked the game-winning field goal.
