ATLANTA, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson's triple-double Tuesday lifted the Atlanta Hawks to a 99-88 win over hapless Oklahoma City.
Johnson finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
Marvin Williams added 21 points and seven rebounds for the Hawks, who improved to 5-1 on their eight-game homestand. Josh Smith had 19 points and Mike Bibby posted 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Atlanta.
Kevin Durant scored 28 points for the first-year Thunder, which has lost 10 of 11 to fall to a NBA-worst 3-26. Chris Wilcox had 19 points and 12 rebounds and Jeff Green 18 points and 14 rebounds for Oklahoma City.
Atlanta, ahead by one point at 69-68 to start the final period, went on a 9-1 run to build a 78-69 margin with 8:42 left.
