
TEMPE, Ariz., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- James Harden scored 18 points Tuesday to lead the 17th-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils to a 90-55 victory over the Idaho State Bengals.
Rihards Kuksiks added 15 points, Ty Abbott 14 points, Jeff Pendergraph 11 points and eight rebounds, and Derek Glasser 11 points and nine assists for the Sun Devils (10-1), who have a six-game winning streak.
Kal Bay led Idaho State in scoring with only 12 points. Matt Stucki added 11 points and seven rebounds for the Bengals (2-9), who have lost their last four games.
Harden scored three consecutive three-pointers and Arizona State closed the first half with the final five points to take a 43-28 lead. The Sun Devils started the second half with a 14-2 run to build a 57-30 lead.
