EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Yao Ming had 24 points and 16 rebounds Monday to lead the Houston Rockets to a 114-91 victory over the New Jersey Nets.
Aaron Brooks hit four of Houston's nine three-pointers and had 22 points and six assists in the Rockets' fourth straight win. Carl Landry had 13 points and Tracy McGrady scored 12.
Keyon Dooling led the Nets with 17 points as New Jersey closed out a four-game homestand with just one win. Vince Carter and Devin Harris hit a combined 7-for-24 and each had 10 points.
Yi Jianlian, facing his Chinese countryman Yao, made only 4-of-13 from the floor and had just 10 points and seven rebounds.
