MEMPHIS, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Tyreke Evans scored 20 points Monday to lead the 24th-ranked Memphis Tigers to an 87-49 victory over the Drexel Dragons.

Robert Dozier had 14 points and Shawn Taggart had 13 points, seven rebounds and seven blocked shots for the Tigers (7-3).

Tramayne Hawthorne had 26 points for the Dragons (2-6), who have lost five straight games.

Memphis closed the first half with an 11-3 run to take a 36-17 lead at intermission.
