
PITTSBURGH, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs, led by Nik Antropov's goal and two assists, blasted Pittsburgh 7-3 Saturday night.
One of Antropov's assists came on Jonas Frogren's goal when Toronto opened up a 3-1 first period advantage.
Niklas Hagman (unassisted) and Pavel Kubina (power play) both scored in the second. Dominic Moore (power play), Jeremy Williams, and Alex Ponikarovsky also scored once.
Antropov scored his 13th goal (power play) at 8:18 of the third, while Vesa Toskala was credited with 20 saves on 23 shots for the Maple Leafs, who have won four of their last five contests.
Pittsburgh's Petr Sykora scored twice and Evgeni Malkin once.
Marc-Andre Fleury started in net, but was pulled after two periods after giving up five goals on 33 shots.
Back-up Dany Sabourin allowed two goals on seven shots in the third period for the Penguins, who have lost five of seven.
Toronto went 3-for-7 on the power play while Pittsburgh went 1-for-4.
